I think it's very expensive and again pathetic that you only get free entrance if you are a "refugee"!! If you can make such exceptions, you could also put one day a week when it's free for everyone, like many other museums.

Relatively small but informative museum. Main topics: Swiss wildlife animals, today and in prehistoric times. Focus lies on canton of St. Gallen.
It's wheelchair accessible but baby strollers aren't allowed! You may lend a carrying device for your small child at the entrance.

If you are in St. Gallen capitol, it is definitely worth to pay a visit there. We had the luck to get a tour on the topic "collection". They have loads of local animals and local findings. Very interesting also without the tour. There is also an option for snaks and drinks at the restaurant within the building.
