The lady behind the counter was extremely helpful. The amaretti is amazing, as well as the plaited bread. Also recommend the cone with the cream inside, not sure of the name.

She also speaks very good English! We didn’t need to use the translation app at all!

And personally, thank you for the great experience and letting us know about the old currency :)

Great bread! And especially the quinoa one when they have it! Nice stuff. A good place to catch local gossip - if you understand berndutsch ;) It's here, where eldery people come to - to eat their sMittag as well as to get some company. And it's also here, where all the local Postauto drivers love to meet for their morning Kafi and Gipfeli. The lunch menus are usually very tasty, eventhough a bit too salty. And you may hear that "das ist kein Spielplatz", when you let your kid move around, but don't worry - just be sure to sit next to the aquarium with her, so that she has something interesting to watch while you drink your latte :) Note that there's no wifi connection, but this can be an advantage too...

4 Personen, das einzig angebotene zum mittagessen war schnitzel-pommesfrites mit einer bouillon und salat... Die suppe kam MIT frischem schnittlauch! In der bruehe schwamm altes brot. Der salat war frisch, aber auch nicht mehr. Das schnitzel war in einem falle halb so gross wie andere, nicht durch und solo sehnig und fettig, Dass man es kaum beissen konnte. Der service war nett aber mit kritik ueberfordert. Den kaffee gabs Dann aber umsonst. Ohne eine entschuldigung. Sehr peinlich fuer eine dorfbaeckerei.
