We stopped in this family owned restaurant to get a meal for the 7 of us. While they were in between lunch and dinner, the quiet time of the restaurant worked to our favor as it gave us a chance to relax, have a beer and order our dinner. When the food arrived, it took about 30 minutes so plan accordingly, it was enjoyed by all. Most in our party ordered the viener schnitzel and other Other German based dinners while in Basel, CH (Switzerland).

Just finished a meal here (literally) and it is fantastic! Totally authentic. Get your Google going if you don't speak German, because that is all the menu comes in. Locals galore coming in. It's the real deal and delicious!

Old fashioned pub/restaurant which has outside seating. A good pint and nice selection of wines and cocktails. Not posh but still nice. Didn't eat there.

Good Schnitzel. Shame about the frying oil which made the housemade fries taste fishy :/ friendly service and def. a nostalgic swiss gem. There will be parsley garnish that sets you back 30 years :)
