Our experience with Champittet has been very incredible. From the start of the admission process where the staff was so clear and open in discussing the details till the time we moved them out as our assignments ended in Lausanne, has been very very smooth! The children were well received in the school! The school staff has been warm through out. Your child's face says it all when they return from school...that is what a parent wants ultimately :)
I wish the school and its staff Merry Christmas and an awesome New Year 2020. Keep the fire burning...CHAMPITTET!

Our two daughters have spent almost 4 years at Champittet. Starting from pre-school up to fourth grade, we have only had the best experience! We could not have hoped for a better start in their school life. Not only have we encountered motivated teachers and staff, but also a very wide range of extra-curricular activities.
I would recommend Champittet to anybody in the Lausanne area, who is looking for a bilingual school!

Great school with a lot of history and traditions! Amazing location, just a minute away from Lake Leman, so children can join paddle board and other water sports acitvities. Beautiful green territory. I love the fact that haft of the workers and students are Swiss and half are international. It allows you to fill that you are part of Swiss community but with a very opended international views!

Beautiful building and good after classes activates choice. My son lasted only a year in this school (primary) as the school is very traditional and not progressive enough to encompass modern, holistic approach to education of young kids. Children of the age of 5 were spending hours on calligraphy rather than developing social skills or waking up their curiosity about the world. Poor level of English education despite claiming bilingual program. Most of the staff does not speak English

This school has the potential to be good with a good reputation and a rich heritage. However, the combination between their teaching style (monotone, strict, cold, harsh), the outdated facilities and the lack of student community haven’t made my time at Champittet enjoyable. In regard to the ladder, there is a very strong presence of Russian speaking pupils on campus, who tend to exclusively form friendships with fellow Russian speakers. I appreciate that it is natural for friendships to be predominantly formed on shared traits; but at Collège Champittet, it is extreme. Furthermore, there is a pronounced theme among many students and staff members of snobbery and superficiality: strongly believing that Champittet is a school for the elite. Given my connections with Champittet, I can say that this isn’t the case — school results are average at most.

Highly recomended if you are looking for a new school, great campus, great studing invironment & great people - high level of studies for this international school full of strong values and culture! Open to the world but still remains a close knit community. A good mix of boarding and day students of different nationalities, local students too and situated in the heart of Lausanne.

They offer an high education, thats for sure. But discipline is quite harsh, punishments come very easily. A good school but not for everybody i would say.
