Great location at the heart of Lugano. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Food didn't take long to arrive and we managed to get a good spot during busy hours.

We ordered three different foods, and none of them was good. I tried grilled duck. It was smelling really bad, and I couldn’t eat half of my portion. The Ravioli portion was small and the taste was not also good. You may try other foods and you may find them good but forget the grilled duck. The waitress was freindly and helpful.

It was a real challenge trying to get some sort of lunchtime/snack menu from them. Do these people think I'm clairvoyant? We eventually got one and ordered coffee, a toastie and cake, which were nice actually. There wasn't much of a selection though (3 pm), so although the views are spectacular, it's really just for drinks til dinner time.

The good thing is it was open on a Monday when many Swiss restaurants take the day off. But the service left much to be desired by the chief waitress. Their sign on the outside chairs said to do take out at the bar. The chief waitress was busy with the coffee machine and barely said hello. She mentioned the terrasse is closed several times, but that she would still bring out the beers. When she finally did after about 10 minutes, she accidentally dropped one but quickly replaced it. We asked for food but were told they only had some salty mix which she brought a cup of per person. Swiss kitchens usually close after lunch is over, from about 2:30-6pm,so we weren't surprised. We will probably give this restaurant another chance since the location is great, right on the lake. Maybe she had had a bad day. The inside area looked a bit cafeteria-like though.

We were there when due to Covid-19 restrictions only the terrasse of the restaurant were allowed to be open. However, we sat on a "terrasse that was closed on 3 sides and the 4th side had a glass front that was only partially open.
