The place was nice, you have lockers showers and all you need to spend some time at the lakeshore. Although there was no food in there just beverages.

It’s a lovely space to get the kids to swim in the lake or in the kids pool! If they’re done with that they have the playground. The restaurant/bar has decent food and the staff is very efficient and they attempted to my questions in English since I don’t speak German. Appreciate that! For tourists visiting, keep 2 franc coins handy for the lockers. There’s a shop near the entrance where you can buy beach towels and other stuff, incase you forget to carry it.

Best experience was to swim in Lake Luzern! Lockers, toilets and showers are provided at Strandbad. Always prepare 2 franc coin as it’s commonly used for lockers and you get the coin back.

When we visited, there was life jackets provided at no charge. That was awesome as swimming in the lake which could go as deep as 10metres would otherwise be intimidating

Nice place for children mostly but for adults also. Little beach with small rocks, adult pool for adults and children. Nice playground, coffe and Bar on the side of the lake and also pizza and Crêpes.

The beach is nice, but the food… the man who handles the orders and the money also touches the food, with bare hands. We ordered caesar salad, and after a half an hour we got a “salad” (some leaves mainly meat) without any dressing. When we went back and asked they said there is no caesar sauce but other like French or Italian dressing, we can choose. On top of it it is pretty expensive. We have been coming here since years and never had such a bad experience.

Open all year, CHF 8 adults/5 kids (-16) per day (apr-oct, in wintertime free of charge - no operating guards). With parking, restaurant/cafe, playgrounds, ferry terminal and fantastic view to the Alps, the Pilatus mountain & Lucerne city. Sunshine spot for the whole day. One of the best place to be in summer with clear water, wavesound and sandy beach. 20 min walk from main station. Relax here & enjoy your free time.

Beachfront at the lake with a spacious lawn and a relaxed flair of an early summer break. The perfect destination for a day at the lake with friends or family. There is a beach bar, restaurant and an italian gelati shop. The facilities are well maintained and staff is super nice.
