Part I , 1 ⭐️ . The service is inferior and rude, and the glasses selection is outdated. My husband went to get a pair of bifocal lense glasses, to make the long story short, after several month back and forth, we were told they don’t know how to make the correct power for his glasses. Honestly, if they advertise this at the first place, we wouldn’t waste our time and several thousand franks there.

Part II, 2 ⭐️ . I posted above comments 2 weeks ago. Since then, a Sr. Staff reached out to my husband and expressed the willingness to work together on getting him a pair of better fitted lenses. We are very happy to see the improvement of Fielman’s attitude.

Part III, 5 ⭐️ , 2 weeks after the phone call from Mr. Reinhold, yesterday my husband and I finally found some time and revisited Fielmann again. We had a very exceptional pleasant experience and I want to revise the two parts reviews above. As a Sr. Optometrist re-examined my husband’s vision and confirmed all necessary glasses for reading and driving. She also confirmed the current pair of bifocal lenses which we purchased last year is still good for now. This really put our mind at peace. During our last visit, we were totally miss informed by a store employee that Fielmann doesn’t know how to make bifocal lenses. Not only Fielmann can deliver high quality bifocal glasses, I am especially impressed by their services, which is to own the mistakes, correct it and working on improving the relationships with its customers. I am confidence to introduce all my California friends to visit this Fielmann in Luzern old town.

Nice helpful staff and a good online booking system. Nice range of products. They worked well to give a solution to my particular vision problem.

Beware: the opticians will intentionally leave your “pupil distance” measurements out of your prescription sheet. Happened 2/2 times.

If you go in for an eye test only, you will receive a useless prescription.

The bottom line is that this is a very cynical practice. You pay for the eye test and should be able to receive all the necessary information.

They leave this crucial measurement out on purpose to stop you from buying glasses online.

I already have a pair of Fielmann glasses, buy contact lenses from them regularly, and conducted two eye tests there.

The way I have been finessed by the optician made me instantly lose all trust in this company.

The staff are genuinely nice people, but a toxic up-selling strategy and cynical practices destroy years of good branding in the customer’s mind in a second.

Fast vision examination. Stuff knows English so it is easy to explain for expats. Price for regular examination is 9,5 francs. Central position. Keep going forward.
