Stayed here for two nights on vacation, front desk service was *fantastic*. The room, which had the river view, was a really incredible view overlooking the Chapel Bridge but the layout was a little weird and didn't leave a lot of room - that said, the rooms were very clean and stayed that way.

Restaurant service left something to be desired - the manager/hostess was great, the first server I had more or less ignored me the whole time, the second server was great.

Location is fantastic, most of the sights I wanted to see were well within walking distance.

Great central location near the train station. We were here in July & it was very hot & unfortunately there is no Air conditioning. We had to sleep with the window open & requested a fan so we could sleep. We thought for the price there would be plush towels and or breakfast included. They did give us meal vouchers (18.50 Swiss francs) that could be used towards a meal, so that was good. There was an elevator & the hotel staff were friendly.

We had a lovely, comfortable room with a large balcony and beautiful views. The hotel restaurant is good and convenient. The staff is friendly and very professional .

Manager denied our email confirmed room type starting on Friday. Seemed clueless regarding neighborhood, location of Closest grocery store, pharmacy. Room shower is dinky dinky! Fan in bath not working, shutters on doors to balcony non
functional, so unable to have fresh air with privacy. No peephole on door, no light at entrance in room where dressing mirror is. Critically located electrical plug was nonfunctional/erratic. Restaurant staff were amazing, as was room crews. Front desk were unhelpful at best! No a/c and no way to ventilate room with privacy, room 459.

This was our favorite hotel of our week trip! We were upgraded to the water front and it was a beautiful view. Visited in early March so having the window opened a little made it feel very cool in the room. Great great location with lots of restaurants around and easy access to the trains.

We had an excellent breakfast at this restaurant. The view from the outside tables is beautiful, you are meters away from the the Kapellbrücke.
Super great and friendly service also!

This is a historical location..the rooms are small ( typical for older hotels) yet, I stayed in 3 others in Belgium and France without that problem. THE ROOMS ARE NOT AIR CONDITIONED! Climate change is real folks and setting a fan in a murderously hot room just blows around hot air. The beds are not comfortable, when you're a single on a tour group you get the leftovers...push twin beds together. Horrible and hot comforter in a sack. I want regular sheets. I always sleep hot and I don't want to be smothered by a heavy down quilt. The shower was so tiny you had to step sideways so the shower door could accordion open. Let's not forget the sliding shower head that attaches on a moveable rod... definitely can't get any kind of clean. No lotion provided...even one star places provide that. No cream for the coffee machine, tiny cups that overflow from the machine making tea. No reception phone was broken. Had to beg to get clean towels. Oh yes, part of the hotel does have a/,c but they're too cheap to provide to the patron.. breakfast was a joke premade plate of cheese ham and 3 veggies pieces. When I asked for fruit, that's not offered for a tour group.
On the other hand when I purchased dinner in the restaurant later, it was quite but expensive as everything in swim is.
I don't recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

Wifi does not work in the rooms, would not stay here again. Rooms are very hot in July without AC, have to sleep with window open (can be loud). Expensive for what you get, do not recommend.
