I have completed A1.2 and A1.3 in Alemania Luzern. My teacher was Margit.
The school's approach and environment are very positive, and Margit is absolutely amazing. She is very patient and involves each member of the group, even those who need more time to keep up.
These 2 courses have given me a good foundation both in terms of grammar and speaking. I am planning to continue my studies there very soon.

I started an intensive German course this week and I really enjoy every minute there.

The school has a friendly environment and the teacher is great.

I strongly recommend Alemania to learn German! - even as a beginner ????!

This school it’s really amazing. Each teacher was so helpful and give us very good knowledge. I’m going to next course A2.1 and hope one day can speak Deutsch fluently

I took the B1.3 course and the B2.1 as already old a B1 telc certificate but need a refresh on rules and grammatic and also because as working mostly at the computer and online I need interactivity.
The good part, not sure if I was lucky was the teacher that was prepared and with many years of experience and she was and I guess try to make the lesson interactive and let everyone "speaking" and read.
Unfortunately here come the reason of my poor rating:

- Poor class organize, I don't see the reason to let potential students take a test if then more or less they are been felt to me almost put in level just to fill those level.

- Indeed if you look for upgrade your German or level, definitely I do think the school doesn't not even offer a C1 course.
I understand that classes do require time to organize but indeed the more one goes up in level the more the class should be focus and target with the level of student in order for less prepared student to not pull all the class down.
- Classes are usually pretty big or become pretty big, for the problem I exposed above.
- Poor management that don't even realize the school is in Luzern not in Zürich, then we ended having a lesson less, because in Zürich was holiday but not in Luzern, well but the lesson was not even covered or done another time.
Then definitely the management seems out of their "league" or not sure what their are doing, except feeding me with their childish video -tiktok like on Facebook.
If you are a professional looking for German courses in Luzern look somewhere else, this school is good for beginners or make some friends, not for improve German for busy professional people.

I‘ve attended an A2.3 course, led by Mrs. Lieza Swennen. She’s a great and very experienced teacher, always making it a point of giving everyone the attention they need, trying (and succeeding) in finding the balance when pupils have different levels of German knowledge. She always kept the class in good mood, and that’s a big plus. I will now attend the B1 course
at Alemania, albeit with another teacher.

This course was the best I could find in Lucerne. The books, the learning material and the teachers make it a great place to learn German.
Although that is not true of all the teachers that are there. The course management should work on some teachers to teach them teaching ethics.
