Really enjoyed our stay here. The room was fantastic, bed comfortable, it was well located for the lakeside and main area. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the lady hosting the breakfast restaurant was a star - very hard working and friendly.

Loved our stay! We travelled with a dog and were delighted to see how the team has prepared for our arrival and made something special to make us smile. A truly tailored service and lovely attention to detail. Perfectly clean, everyone has been warm and helpful. The interior of the rooms and especially the shower with the curtain is super fun and original.

Very comfortable hotel within easy reach of City Centre, in front of the University. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff.

Our first stay at Hotel City Lugano and it was fantastic! Initially we thought that the hotel was a little away from the centre, but it was only a 10 minute brisk walk and worth the great service & price! The buffet breakfast was elaborate, fantastic and the service from Katia and Yada was superb! Have never experienced such friendly service and attention to detail. Overall all staff (front desk, cleaning) were fantastic! We also received a free bus pass for all of Lugano, so if it rained or we were tired, we simply hopped onto the bus to go to the centre or the lakeside. The rooms were modern and well designed, coffee & tea available in the room and complimentary water. A little refrigerator to accommodate any little groceries. I highly recommend this hotel and will visit back! Thank you to all the staff at Hotel City Lugano!

We give this a top rating, however our room was a little warmer than we would have liked. The staff made the stay the best, they helped us with bookings and giving us suggestions. Katia in particular provides the hotel guests the best morning start to the day. Looking at the map you may feel it's a little ways away, but the location is perfect for getting around to different parts of Lugano. Would definitely stay again!

Nice rooms including bathrooms. Good breakfast.
For a four star hotel I was a bit disappointed with the lack of mini bar. Only way to purchase any things at night is a vending machine in the basement that only takes coins. Had to find a pizzeria on the street to get a coke.

Good business hotel for a couple days. The bathroom can be quite a surprise as it's configured as a "people with special assistance" bath. There are handles everywhere but can be useful for whoever may need it.
The rooms are very quiet despite the proximity with the center and very easy to move from the hotel to anywhere in Lugano thanks to the bus line just beside.
Will come back for sure on a business trip.

I have been in the Hotel together with my wife in June.2022. Everything went perfect! but Katia, the lady who is during the breakfast needs a special mention, she is great and extremely kind!! :)
