Nice, small restaurant with delicious sushi and fresh sashimi. Staff friendly and price matches with the food. Will come here again.

The sushi here is great, but sadly everything else is sub-par. It's also rather pricey, but I'd say the sushi quality justifies it - the quality of everything else doesn't.

The ice cream I had once was clearly melted at some point and then re-frozen. The Japanese Craft Beer was 5 days past its best before date (but, of course, there was nothing wrong with it).

Staff here are not Japanese, so don't expect omotenashi or authenticity.

Cute Japanese restaurant serving sushi and traditional food. Prices are fair and the restaurant is well located in the center of Lausanne

If you like Sushi, then this is the place to come too. Taiyo, a small simple restaurant, located in a 'well to do area' of Lausanne, with its tall old town houses. The restaurant takes up the ground floor of such a building. You could mistake the place as being a fast food eating house, but it isn't. All the Sushi seems to be prepared by a 'chef' in front of you. So 'slow food' it is, but you don't have to wait too long for your order. Staff are friendly and efficient, but if you order an 'all you get eat'menu, don't share it. Prices are fair and the toilets are clean. Come on foot because in the narrow streets free parking spaces are rare. The local railway and bus stations are close by.

Friendly atmosphere, many different options in the menu including the fondue pots that are fun, tasty, and nice comfort food.

These are the best sushi in town! They have an amazing selection of fresh sushi ???? they are prepared in front of you and everything is done by a friendly and very respectful staff. Always a pleasure to come here.
