Are you looking for the full Swiss experience? A place that leaves you feeling like you made the most out of your stay? Then Hotel Crystal is the place to be! Perfect location, a 2 minute walk to the metro and trains, and only minutes from the Lake (Ouchy) by metro.

You have a breathtaking view for breakfast on the terrace over looking the city with the mountains. The breakfast also includes all local foods so you are really getting the authentic Swiss food which you won’t get at any other place.

The staff goes the extra distance and makes you feel like you are staying with family. The beds are comfy and you can go to sleep knowing you are in a safe place. You can tell this hotel is ran with a passion for hospitality.

When you are planning a trip to Lausanne you don’t want to miss out on Hotel Crystal!

Great value and well located near the town centre. Staff were helpful. Room was clean and got water in the shower was almost instant. Mini fridge in room. Rooms look like their pictures in the listing. Comfortable and generous sized bed. Rest of room was well laid out but not a lot of space.

The room was fine. Breakfast was fine. View from the terrace was great. The noise from the club across the street was absolutely unacceptable. Thursday: music blaring and people screaming until midnight. Saturday: it’s 12:30 and the music is still blasting and people shouting, and I’ve got a flight to catch in the morning.

The owners need to figure out what to do about that!

Service was outstanding, staff was incredibly helpful and genuinely interested in our wellbeing. Rooms were simple, but we didn't need anything more. Besides, coffee on the balcony with the view- priceless!

The Hotel Crystal is conviniently situated in the middle of Lausanne, surrounded by cafés, bars, restaurants and points of interest, so there's plenty around to explore. The hotel itself is a bit outdated, oldfashioned. The design, the colours, the interiors all seem a bit old. However, the bed was comfortable. There is no AC, at least not in my room (26). The shower is decently sized, water pressure is great. The staff at the reception was very welcoming, just like the staff during break fast. The break fast was decent, a small but fine choice of bread, cheese, cereals and fruits, as well as oranges to squeeze for fresh juice. An egg boiler is at your service as well. The view from the terrace is stunning, over entire of Lausanne. Given the price they ask for a night, I still don't feel the hotel delivers the feeling expected.

Good location, budget hôtel hence you get for what you pay and clean.
The only issue is the extra big and uncomfortable pillow!!! Never seen that before… hence no choice but to sleep without pillow ????

Thank you Hotelcard for smart hotel experience . The Crystal is right at Coop City, amazing location. The owner is generous , free welcome drink and free Coffee and Tea on 5th floor . Amazing view. The room and the shower room are spacious . Neat and clean even though the design is outdated. Hair Dryer is not easy to use and takes a long time for my hair to dry . TV functions well . I have a pleasant stay .
