I haven't been to this traditional eatery, localized at the foot of the old town, La Cité, since well over two decades. It's run by one of my compatriots, Anders, still going strong, greeting his customers at the front door. I came down from a photo shoot from the cathedral and was caught by the menu, featuring sweetbreads, one of my inner organ favourites. I was lucky to get a small table overlooking the restaurant that was rapidly filling up. It's catering to the carnivores but there are some Scandinavian fish alternatives and a few vegetarian choices. The drinks list is well composed with wines from several countries. I chose a red Burgundy to accompany my perfectly cooked sweetbreads. The staff is attentive and efficient and prices are a little on the high side but OK when you consider the quality and quantity on your plate. Recommended!

Absolutely recommend it! Our dinner was so delicious and we enjoyed an exquisite wine while relaxing in their terrace surrounded by sun and green vines. The service was nice and even offered us a blanket when the night became chilly. It’s at walking distance from downtown so you can promenade in the streets or visit the bars nearby after dinner. Enjoyed it all!

Awesome restaurant with a fantastic view of Lausanne. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. The lamb was incredible.

Best quality/service in lausanne.

This is our go to resto for a special night together. Food and wine is great, sanglier night is amazing! And best of all the staff is just always so kind and helpful and accommodating.

Cannot be beat!

Good restaurant in a cozy location, just under Lausanne Cathedral. Service was friendly and attentive, food was extremely good. A little bit pricey compared to other places in Lausanne, but good value for money considered the quality of food. I would recommend for sure and hope to come back soon.

This place is a Gem! The food is one of the best in every aspect: the taste, the smell, the presentation, and the QUALITY. Add to it the restaurant pleasant and authentic atmosphere and the good service...

Nice views and good vibes place. Cocktails were nice and we'll done. The only downside is that some times you have to make a line to order and may take some minutes to just a hava a beer, but the view and place is worthy.

Food absolutely delicious, everyone enjoyed it. Staff friendly and helpful, very good wine recommended for our budget. Atmosphere relaxed. Plus they took the many allergies in my family seriously. Thank you for such a great night.
