A wonderful little restaurant in the center of Lausanne.
The ambience is chic but homey as well, making it a great place to spend time chatting and enjoying the delicious food.
Everyone can find something to eat here, the menu is diverse, offering something for every taste.
Especially the appetizer plate is highly recommended, the homemade tapenade, avocado dip and foccacia were heavenly.
The chef of Bluebird café is an absolute king/queen of spices. We were thrilled about all the small components rounding up the dishes in the best possible way.
Also, definitely give the vegan chocolate cookies a try, they were absolutely perfect.

What stood out to us the most was the warm and attentive service of the owner. She is such a sweet, caring woman making a visit to this restaurant a true delight.
It is a hidden gem in Lausanne and definitely worth a visit!

Very unfriendly email contact regarding booking, very noisy, small space, too many tables, untrained or unfriendly staff, only one vegan option on the menu, good food but small table, overpriced portions. Won't be going back for brunch

Great food and service. Coffee and fresh juices were good too. Good vue for money as well: CHF20 for avocado toast + sweet potatoes + butternut soup

Good food, kind service, decent prices. Second time here and I recommend. PS: I ordered the meat that way. Absolutely delicious. Bluebird Burger for those curious.

We were warmly received in this cosy café. The breakfast menu had plenty of options. When I couldn't finish the "Sweet Breakfast" the staff could not have been more caring and I was given it to takeaway. It tasted even better later on that day ???? I'd definitely recommend here and will happily return ????

Would not recommend. Went for a Sunday brunch, the place was already super hot and crowded when we got there. I ordered an avocado and pumpkin with feta toast. It was literally two small slices of bread NOT toasted with some avocado purée and feta sprinkled on top, nothing special. The salad it came with was very tiny. That was 20 chf. Not a good presentation of the food either. I left very hungry and had to go order some fries and dessert from another restaurant. Additionally, they totally forgot the order of another person in our party. This place has potentially, but until they improve their menu I will not be going back!

I was quite disappointed with the Sunday brunch here. Firstly, I was still hungry after a full brunch dish and I'm a normal eating person. The food itself was nothing special if not underseasond, which makes the prices they ask very unreasonable. Lastly, we waited quite a lot for ordering, recieving the food, and cleaning the table. Overall a quite disappointing experience.
