Great location and use of public transport is easy. Unfortunately our rooms were not given as previously arranged. They found solutions, but they were not all satisfactory. It was very loud in some dorm wings, and the noise restrictions between 10pm and 7am were not upheld. Some beds were not comfortable. It was clean and the food was ok.

I initially booked a dorm bed however when reaching and seeing the condition of the shared room, I just could not stay there. I had to immediately change to private room.
The shared female dorm was unclean, with no lockers, no sufficient lights, and no space. Everyone's stuff was just lying in the whole room randomly and it was a mess. Even the shared bathrooms were not clean.
Positive things: Breakfast, reception lounge and private rooms were okay.

As an international student / in general, the youth hostel Lausanne has been the best place I could have stayed at. We are always unsure how Airbnb would welcome us (mostly good still!). They have helped me and assisted me in a lot of ways, more than I could put into words. People at reception are very understanding and helpful (24/7).

-They have different accommodations ranging from shared to double rooms. well maintained and regularly cleaned by the administration. Basic but has all that one needs.
- Breakfast, is included in the package
- You get travel support for short-term stays
- Wifi is available
- Laundry room is available
- Hot water is available 24/7
- Area near reception is equipped with snack dispenser, sitting tables, TV, few games, etc.
- They have open ground to play too

Overall I had a great experience over my two-month stay there and especially the reception was super nice and helpful. I can't stop writing without mentioning Lucas. Not a lot of people say "we are here to help" but he said and was there. When you move into a new country especially you need something that you can trust. I bet you can trust the organization and they are well sorted out.

I had a booking for myself, however, my spouse decided to travel with me to Laussane, I contacted the hostel to advise me on what to do, The receptionist told me to cancel my booking and I would get my refund then I could proceed to book a bigger room which offers privacy. After following the advice, I called back to get my refund and I was simply told " YOU HAVE LOST YOUR MONEY AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT" so in summary here I am out of pocket due to me simply following the receptionist's advice. Just to let others know, This hotel, or whatever it is, is a Fraud. Bad service, purposefully misleading customers, and disgraceful.

The food they offer as a dinner is so disgusting that we literally didn’t eat for two days and one of us had to throw up.
The breakfast is ok nothing special the staff is mostly kind but sometimes very complicated.
The bathrooms are dirty and the showers basically don’t work.
The good thing is that u are near the lake where u can go for a swim.

Well the hotel location is 30 minutes walk from lausanne train station, you need to take metro from Lausanne train station then get down delicie & from delicie you need to take bus 25 which will drop you bois du vaux station from there 4 minutes walk you will find hostel. The room was not enough decorated, only one socket for charging in whole room, no shampoo, soap, towels provided all you need to buy from your self but receptionist was very helpful, breakfast was good. If you want low budget hotel then this is best for you otherwise spend more money for getting better options. They will provide you free travel card also so you may travel some areas only which is covered by travel card.

The room was ok, the shower and toilet wasn't bad. Yet, as someone wrote healthy food... I might be picky, but nothing healthy was there, especially dinner was awful for 19.50 CHF... The most they should charge for that food is 5.90CHF. Guys, you are good, but make some changes there!
