Every time that we come back is always beautiful. Food is really tasty and the all you can eat option they bring you really how many you want (my boyfriend eats a lot so he took it like 15 lol). From Zurich 30 min with car. Location really cute and old style Swiss houses

The reason why I visited the Landgasthof Löwen is because of the cordon bleu. In Switzerland, the cordon bleu is a religion. In every canton, in every town, and I would say in every village, there's the "best" cordon bleu place. I don't want to sound sacrilegious, but the cordon bleu the Landgasthof Löwen offers its client is the best I have tried.
I am a big fan of this breaded, stuffed, fried slice of yummy meat. I am in love with all the variants the lovely Swiss folks provide to the rest of humanity.
I recently visited Landgasthof Löwen with my family and some friends. We were four adults and three children, and we all had a great time. Even if you can opt for the all-you-can-eat chicken wings that don't sound so Swiss, the Landgasthof Löwen menu mainly offers traditional Swiss food, such as the cordon bleu and the Schnitzel in all their variants. The ingredient quality is excellent, and the portions are generous. For my first experience at the Landgasthof Löwen, I tried the BERNER cordon blue with raclette cheese, bacon cubes and onions. It was delicious! A big challenge for my stomach to face, though. Primarily because of the onions that, in my opinion, don't add any value to the recipe. It was the "normal size", and it was gigantic. The service was polite, and the prices were on average. The only downsides were that the furniture was a bit old and needed renovation and the parking space on the other side of the street was not the best if you had to cross it with excited children. All in all, it was a cool experience.

I really love this place - cordon bleu as its finest. I also really recommend to taste tomato soup - the best one I've ever eaten.
The prices are reasonable for these huge portions. Service is always friendly. Decorations and atmosphere of the place are really warm and friendly - I really like the big tiled stove in one room :)

Very cozy restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. They offer all you can eat chicken wings with french fries. Highly recommended!

Very nice authentic restaurant. Autumn "wild" menu is amazing!

I need to update my review after another visit a few weeks ago. I think that their seasonal menu was great, this time we were eating regular food (cordon blue etc.), which was ok but not five stars restaurant.

Enjoyable experience here, great food and service. I ordered the spicy cordon bleu and it was very tasty and very spicy. Cabbage salad is also fresh and tasty. Highly recommended

When u think of a nice place to eat without many ppl, w a nice atmosfere and in a silent environment w nice local food (try the chicken), u think about this place

Very nice all around. Good menu, good service and, if you visit during warm weather, you may get lucky and get a seat outdoors where you can hear the fresh Alpine stream run. Recommend the venison when it’s in season. Also the Black Crystal Appenzeller beer is delish!
