We celebrated a birthday here (30 people). The service and food was excellent. The menu covers the usual German-Swiss cuisine, honestly prepared. Prices are very fair.

Lovely outside seating. Didnt need a reservation.
Staff were friendly however the food was unfortunately not very good which was a real pity after we climbed up and wanted to have lunch as a family e.g. risotto was served very watery and we also ordered a mains portion of Fleisch und Kase which only came with a small portion of strong cheese and the rest was cold cut meat instead of what we thought would be half/half meat and cheese. The rest of the food was also average.

We have been there several times and the food was always very delicious.

Staff is very friendly and you feel that they love their job.

Totally recommended.

Unfriendly service and oversalted food. Latte macchiato without milk foam, 'eiskaffee' without a trace of coffee.

They seem to prey on visitors to the nearby castle- but we definitely won't come back.
