Peaceful and beautiful location closed to Zurich Town and Airport. Lakeside located, historic hotel with paintings and sculptures of museum quality. Clean rooms and high quality cuisine. Helpful staff. Close mobility: parking, train station and lake ferry.

Excellent location right next to ferry landing and train station (less than 10 minutes from Stadelhofen), right on the lake with a private beach. Lovely staff, very clean. Room was on the small side but for the price, it was excellent quality.

One important caveat: No A/C in the room, so during a heatwave it might get a little too hot for comfort. It was definitely warm but manageable for us (outside temp around 25C).

Stopping in Zurich? Stay in the Sonne hotel in Küsnacht. This hotel is the genuine ‘home away from home’. Quality amenities, warm and professional staff and gorgeous location on the shores of Lake Zurich.

We have stayed in their Comfort, Deluxe and Family rooms … all are excellent. And if you have a four-legged family member - we had two - they are welcomed equally along with everyone else.

Superb Mother’s Day lunch. Fantastic window table arranged by Sasha who just from the reservation call itself understood the significance of what this day would mean for our little group with 2 mothers. The menu lovely and the chef didn’t disappoint. The salads, lobster soup and Veal Wellington delicious paired with house cocktails and a Pinot red. Arrived and will depart with the lake boat. Spectacular

The service is superb. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great and spa is small but very cozy and serves its purpose. Great location for a hike or lake stay. Overall very happy and would definitely recommend.

We had our wedding reception at Sonne. We are locals and enjoy their food on a regular basis in the Terrance during the summer and indoors during the winter. We had an incident with the flowers during our wedding. One of the managers was kind to go pick up the flowers and bring them to our reception. The food and drinks were great. Our guests left very happy. We had a great server who played with our son during the night. They accommodated our son and his friend to a kid meal.

Extremely comfortable rooms and wonderful service. I have stayed here now for many trips. The rooms are comfortable. The best part is they have fans in the room! I get really warm and I really appreciate the fact that they provide a lighter blanket and fans in the room.

Had an amazing stay incl family celebration with five star food and service. All you could ask for at breakfast, clean rooms and restaurant always available when needed. Easy access to go by boat or train to the center.
