Signed the contract with them 3 months ago (when I moved in Switzerland) and I still don't receive my insurance. Plus, whenever I called to ask for status, I got hang up multiple times on the phone after I ask if they speak in English. And now I might get a fine as I don't have a health insurance after 3 months, only because of their incompetence.

I have never seen such a horribly disorganized company (in a very rich country nonetheless), with related bad customer service.

SWICA you need to improve, listen to your customers.

Hi Swica, why do you continue to charge for complementaire insurance (LCA) when someone can legitimately cancel mid-year (e.g., valid change to insurance endorsed by the local authorities SAM)? Other insurances will cancel the LCA, along with LAMAL, but you refuse to prior to the end of the year and continue to require payments. Your competitors are not employing this morally questionnable practice, so I really can't endorse you.

You get what you pay for: SWICA is one of the best health insurance options available globally. They provide all services (website, paper documents, phone calls) in English as well as French, Italian, and German. If you understand the value of health insurance that accommodates individuals needs, then the more expensive price point is definitely worth it. As a diabetic, they have supported my use of an insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor, as an expat family, they have paid for our urgent care in the USA, Kenya, Singapore, etc... and even when we have made errors in our coverage, they have allowed us to back-pay premiums to ensure the best access to care.

since septembre 2017 still didn't receive their card which can facilitate the payment in the pharmacies. However, with the number they gave us the pharmacies managed to send them the bill and it worked well. 2 weeks ago we went to the pharmacy and they said you have to pay, ok why? I always use the same pharmacy and they never charge me as swica is reimbursing all directly to them with the number they sent us. The lady called swica and they said we are canceling my account, completely furious my husband contacted them Mr. Abdoulla Naina who said my avs number is missing that's why didn't receive my card.Which was never asked from September 2017! But my account in not being cancelled and my card will be ordered right away. This was on the 30/11. So as have to go to the pharmacy again so called Mr. Naina who told me to call another lady. Called her she even didn't listen to my problem just answered me rudely that it will take very long to receive the card and good buy. I was so shocked even didn't have time to say something and hung up the phone. Too bad that Swica is hiring this kind of incompetent people, who are completely ruining their reputation. Otherwise, the reimbursement procedure is not complicated and usually they are fast. Can not give them higher rate for their service!

They changed the conditions of my policy (+100 CHF each month) without even telling. When I asked them to send me the policy documents, they sent me the old ones (-100 CHF each month) and I could realise the increased the premium only looking at my bank account.
Stay away! These guys are scam!

I was fairly happy with the services until a call I received in an inexplicably patronizing and condescending tone. Starting to think that complete inability of logical reasoning and absolute lack of service oriented communication are part of recruitment criteria at health insurers...

Every time I ask a question, I receive always the quick and precise answer. I would say it is the best insurance in CH, as I have tried several ones before.

Très bonne assurance et aussi la moins chère actuellement! Mon conseiller M. Hutzli a su se montrer à l'écoute et prendre le temps pour me faire des propositions d'assurance qui convenaient à mes besoins et demandes tout en restant très compétitives niveau prix en comparaison à d'autres. Je suis très satisfaite et recommande SWICA.
