I had a really enjoyable and educational visit here. The ladies at reception were really helpful in explaining the exhibitions and the different types of tickets I could buy that also included the church next door. They also have a very useful audio guide that has an unbelievable amount of information on it concerning almost every single exhibit in the museum. So even though it is a relatively small museum, it's really packed with information and so much history and knowledge about the reformation.

This was an eerie experience! Lots of historical artifacts, but presented with an American-style spin on the reformation. This could have been such a great occasion to look at global history more generally, to talk about the contemporary relations of Christian churches… but it’s more about enumerating where Protestants are “on the win” globally. I turned around when they presented certain brands as “Protestant”, and listed famous people who happen to be of Protestant faith as “Protestant flagships”. Ouf. This wasted opportunity to teach/learn makes me sad.

A very nice museum about the story of the reformation and post reformation of the protestant church. Located right next to St. Pierre cathedral. The adult ticket is 13 francs. You will receive an audioguide that will explain parts of the exhibition. No pothos or video. You can re-enter using the same ticket. Restrooms are located at the entrance. Not really fun for little children. Also, it's a bit difficult to understand the flow of the exhibition. Recommended.

It´s always interesting, when the science and religion meet. Located near St. Peter’s Cathedral, the Museum was opened on the 15th of April 2005. It presents the history of Protestantism from its beginnings. There are about 500 authentic objects to be seen in the Museum (books, engravings, manuscripts, etc).

Moving and in depth museum. Excellent value for money. Current exhibition overwhelming in its content.

I really enjoyed this museum. It has a lot of information (in English, French and German) and I learned a lot. It is a bit expensive (13 CHF for an adult) but it is worth it.

Lots of artifacts from the Reformation period upstairs but the highlight for me was exploring the reformation legacy in the downstairs exhibition. Fascinating. Well worth visiting if you have an interest in Reformation history.

Great museum. I thought the videos and self guided tour were great additions (especially since everything was written in French). The tour makes it worthwhile for English speakers. The layout and exhibits were attractive and informative. I thought they did a good job of explaining the reformation and some of the key points without bias.
