We were unable to eat here despite hearing good things about the food because the male server was racist and looked down upon us. He suggested we go to the Indian restaurant next door which would be better suited for us. It doesn't matter how good their food is, someone serving customers with such vitriol should not be supported.

I would be very careful before going to eat here, especially if you're not from Singapore or possibly white.

I've been here three times and the service was abysmal. This is disappointing because the food is generally very good. However, to call the service abysmal is an understatement. The male manager behaves in a racist manner towards South Asians.This is an opinion that is shared among Indian students I know who have been to this place. For instance, today when my friends who went there to celebrate a birthday dinner mentioned that they are vegetarian in order to confirm that the vegetarian items clearly listed on the menu did not contain any meat, he said that this restaurant isn't for us and that we go to the nearby Indian place instead. Even though we politely told him that this was not good behaviour towards customers, the female manager then told us rudely to go find something else to eat, especially when we were already on our way out of the restaurant.

Another time we went, the male manager behaved super well to white clientele and very rudely to us. The one time I went there with white friends, the service was better but he was still rude to me. See the other reviews for this place and you'll see this opinion is valid, even if in the minority, because well this guy is rude to minorities.

I may not be a Singaporean, but I have been to Singapore several times and am a proud friend of plenty of Singaporeans. We all agree that this is the best Singaporean food we’ve had outside of Singapore (having tried places across the US and the UK). Everything was amazing, but there were a few really excellent dishes:

* The Char Kuey Teow was incredible. I’ve never had satisfying CKT outside of Singapore before this. This one is proper — wok hei, super umami, not too sweet — just really good.
* The sambal kang kong was spicy and salty and really satisfying to eat alongside the spicy crispy beef, with a bit of rice.
* The laksa was perfectly rich with coconut and a hint of seafood flavor, plus an aromatic spice mix that was enjoyably heavy on star anise.
* The mee goreng was the spiciest dish we had, also very satisfying.

The couple that runs the restaurant is also incredibly kind and treated us so well!

An institution in the city being the only Singaporean restaurant for more than 20 years
Delicious choice of South East Asia specialities, but you shouldn't miss the spicy crabs ????
Fresh foreign beers ???? are a must
Service is efficient and friendly

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE EVEN TO MY ENEMY. The staff is extremely rude, racist and disrespectful. My friends and I (a group of 7) decided to visit the restaurant today for a birthday celebration and asked a simple question about making dishes vegetarian for us (without any meat). The server/owner told us “If you’re vegetarian, this restaurant isn’t for you. You can go next door to your Indian restaurant”. We were appalled and had to leave the restaurant. When I went back to politely explain to them how rude and racist their statement was; they asked me and my friend to leave and find another place to eat. If in today’s day and age, we’re facing racism in an “international” city like Geneva by a south-east Asian owned restaurant, I don’t think anybody should be supporting their business. They didn’t just lose customers but have also now created a bad name for the entire restaurant. PLEASE NEVER GO HERE!

Best Laksa I have ever found in Switzerland. Nice little Singaporean restaurant, very friendly service.

We went to celebrate Lunar New Year and treated ourselves to the Singapore chilli crab and scallops dishes. Both were delicious! Excellent service and we were warmly welcomed with our baby. Can highly recommend as both the food and hospitality were truly authentic. Will definitely return to try out many more dishes.

Amazing Singaporean food here. Get the Laksa and the Char Kway Teow, you won't regret it. Great friendly service too
