I have been going to Ecole Varadi for 2 years now. I have nothing but positive things to say about the school. The staff is very friendly and always looking to help. The one-on-one lessons are highly customized to suit the students' learning style and needs. I have been taking french lessons with Gaelle for the last 2 years and she has been fantastic. Gaelle is extremely well organized and prepared for each lesson and goes above and beyond what is expected. She keeps the lessons fun and exciting by mixing things up and does a great job on focusing on strengthening my weak areas. If anyone is on the fence about going to this school, I hope this review will help you in your decision making process.

I had a terrific experience with Gaelle as a French teacher. Ecole Varadi had been recommended to me as “the best language school in Geneva”, and indeed, Gaelle is an extraordinary teacher. Rather than following the sequence of a textbook or pre-defined curriculum, she adapted my lessons around my gaps in knowledge and whatever I needed at the moment. Our dialogues were fun and engaging. As I travel a lot, roughly half of my classes were done via Skype – which worked perfectly, as if we were in the room together. I now feel confident and inspired to speak French outside of the school, which makes all the difference for my life here in Geneva. I’m so grateful to have had these classes with Gaelle and would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to improve their language skills while enjoying the process of learning.

It was such a pleasure learning French with the Varadi method, I had two teachers who both made the classes very enriching and stimulating, the learning process was very quick, after the first couple classes, I could already have small conversations in French. The staff was very flexible and nice to accommodate me.

I have taken french classes for 6 months trough Zoom (similar to Skype) and the experience is great. It is even better than a face to face class!!!! Besides you don't spend time going to a place in the traffic jam!!!! You just wait with a glass of good wine in front of your computer, your teacher's call!!! Try it and see how good it is.

This school was not very expedient nor quite as welcoming as other language schools. One is required to pay upfront for the trial class before having ever met anyone. They only accept wire transfers and refused cash on the day or payment via credit cards. When I pointed out that the procedure was not very accomodating I was told that if I was not satisfied I could go find another school.

No customer service to speak of and the person I dealt with was rude.. I will not be using this school again.

J'ai fait une très bonne expérience à l'Ecole Varadi ! Les professeurs sont très qualifiés, en quelques mois j'ai fait des progrès considérables en allemand et ai pu passer le Goethe Zertifikat B2. Je recommande :)

L'école Varadi a été très réactive à ma demande express de me remettre à niveau en anglais au plus vite pour raison professionnelle. Jonathan est un professeur très sympa, très disponible, très attentif, je le remercie chaleureusement pour son investissement avec moi. Je ne suis pas partie de zéro certes mais j'ai tout de même ressenti de réelles améliorations. Merci.

Si vous en avez marre d'apprendre des listes de vocabulaire ou de faire des exercices de grammaire répétitifs, cette méthode est faite pour vous! Vous pourrez bénéficier d'un enseignement de qualité qui s'adapte à vos besoins et, simplement en partant de ce que vous avez fait le jour précédent ou de vos projets, progresser et acquérir de nouvelles compétences dans la langue étudiée sans même vous en rendre compte, en discutant et en échangeant avec votre professeur.

Je tiens également à souligner la qualité des échanges avec Mme Varadi et à remercier mon professeur de portugais brésilien, Leonardo Flores, dont j'ai énormément apprécié la disponibilité et l'investissement, de même que la qualité des leçons données. Obrigada!
