Absolutely outstanding service and good price / value ratio. We had the spring menu last night and love it from the beginning to the end. They are also quite flexible with changing parts of the menu should you wish to do that. Will definitely come again

It was my first visit to this area and the establishment in particular.
The Restaurant presented itself well, the Service was prompt and very good.
We were seated on the Terrace with a view of the the mountains. I visited the Restroom (the appearance of which is always a good indicator of how well-kept the entire establishment is.) I did not have any food on this visit but I have no reason to think it would not be of good quality and well prepared.
I would definitely take friends and family there.

The good: super clean rooms, quiet and nice view. We also liked the available parking - not surprising, of course, as the hotel is situated in the country side. You do need a rental car if you stay at this hotel.
The not so good: the first night we were eaten alive by mosquitos as we had to open the windows due to the heat. Even in September the hotel rooms were uncomfortably warm; the hotel - as many Swiss hotels - does not have A/C. But opening the windows (no screens) invites the mosquitos in from the adjacent cow farms. The do have some electric plug-in evaporators in the rooms to spread some chemical into the air - they were totally useless and ineffective. The rooms must be baking hot during the summer months.
The hotel overall felt a little stiff and sober to us; somehow we didn't really feel quite "at home" during our stay. The hotel lacks some cool ambience. Having said that, the staff was friendly and "correct" in everything.

The hotel was great! We booked two rooms with connecting doors for our family of 5. The two rooms have one shared hallway so you can also leave the doors open. The baby bed was already made, and we even had a changing pad and a bathrobe for the baby. The restaurant had high chairs and cutlery for the kids. We did not have to ask for gluten free bread, they just brought it since we indicated that one of use was celiac. The view is splendid, also from the terrace and there is also a small playground for the kids. Breakfast is great, nice fresh fruit, juices, good coffee! Staff is very nice! Highly recommended.

Amazing views of lake & mountains. The portions of food were superb (we had breaded schnitzel with pomme frites & grilled pork cutlet with mushroom cream sauce, peach & noodles). Service was above average and we would definitely come back.

This is the view from the dining terrace! Very spacious. Good food. Friendly staff. Popular on birthdays. Booking essential!
