Really good and simple food

I really enjoyed this place for its casual, outdoor charm and friendly waiters and staff. I had the minestrone soup and mixed salad. While I was worried it would be a small portion, the waiter assured me it should be enough- and it sure was and it hit the spot for the veggies that I was craving. There was a mix up with the order, but it was fixed right away. Liked the fresh cracked pepper on the table. People watching while dining in the outdoor area was entertaining- from families, military guys in uniform, and a big pup. Good place to grab a bite and have a drink in a relaxed atmosphere, and prices are more reasonable than other places I’ve been around here.

After crossing the Münsterplatz, in front of the medieval cathedral, traversing the old cemetery, now a small park with view, taking the paying elevator to the river level, one has arrived at the restaurant. It is a very popular and very good place. The food is mostly Italian and of a very high level. Service is very professional and friendly. A small garden terrasse let's one see the river Aare flow by.

Without any concept, experience and charm. Too bad for such a cosy neighborhood.
