Had a very good stay here. The rooms are nice with balconies and great views over Bern. Bathroom was very good and everything worked well. The whole hotel was very clean and efficient. Three tram stops to the main station or a short walk. The old town is just over the bridge. Bern is beautiful and this is a very good place to stay.

Great location, amazing staff & comfortable & well equipped room. Parking available & the tram stop is exactly what n the front of the hotel. The only issue is the “Air condition” in not the conventional one, it is “an air cooling system embedded in the ceiling” or something like that, for which we asked for a fan.
The outside seating area is superb & the breakfast was very very good.

Beautiful place and wonderful staff. The staff really made the experience. The room had air conditioning, a mini fridge, a small balcony, and the beds were very comfortable. There are USB and regular outlets on either side of the bed.

The breakfast was great, with different options. We only got to try the short menu at the other restaurant, but that wasn't too bad.

The bathroom had a glass door and no fan, so that was a little awkward. The lobby opens to the restaurant and patio like area. If you are sensitive to smoking, keep that in mind. It's all we could smell when we came downstairs in the morning and afternoon.

The hotel is convenient. There is a tram stop right outside, and you get transportation passes while you stay. There are plenty of shops and sights to see. The fountains are beautiful and you can drink from them.

We loved our stay in Bern and at the hotel. Upon check-in, the friendly staff helped us to find a nearby laundromat, and gave us instructions for using the Bern app for free public transport - trams and buses are right outside the hotel.
The room was fantastic. The view from the window and balcony over Old Town was so lovely. The bed was comfy and we requested additional pillows from the “pillow menu”.
The only weird thing was the bathroom walls were semi transparent glass, but a curtain could be used to block the walls.
If we’re ever in Bern again we would definitely stay here.

The hotel room was lovely and in a good location. The heating however was set to an unchangeable 21 degrees which is far to hot to comfortably sleep in. I was told the only way around this was to leave the balcony door open despite being directly above the smokers area and close to very loud bell towers. No matter how nicely a hotel is appointed if I am not able to comfortably sleep I can't rate it higher than 2 stars.

I had the pleasure of booking a night at Swissotel through AllAccor, and I must say, it was an excellent experience that I highly recommend!

???? The rooms were impressively spacious and impeccably clean, which made for a very comfortable stay.

???? The staff at the hotel were simply wonderful. They provided us with a map of the city, highlighting the best places to visit, and even offered us umbrellas on a rainy day, which was a thoughtful touch.

???? One of the highlights of the hotel is the Grand Casino Bern located on the top floor. Even if you're not into playing, I suggest paying it a visit since guests get free entrance along with a complimentary drink.

⛰️ Additionally, there's a bar on the top floor, along with a large open balcony accessible to the public. From there, you can enjoy a stunning view of the city.

????The hotel's location is another major advantage, as it is conveniently close to the city center. It only takes a short 10-minute walk across a bridge to reach the heart of Bern, and the views from the bridge are an added bonus.

????️ For those traveling by car, the hotel offers basement parking at a rate of around 25 francs per 24 hours (That was the price in June 2023).

Overall, my stay at Swissotel was fantastic, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again on my next visit to Bern.

Amazing stay! Second time I stay there for work it was outstanding. Rooms and beds are so comput and deck is super cute. Breakfast is beyond expectations and really worth the price. I would definitely say it’s the top hotel in Bern for à any type of stays. I come back anytime I have to sleep in Bern. Staff is so Sweet, Professional and lots of sweet attentions and smiles. Really loved it!

Great hotel. Parking is not included in the hotel room price but is adjacent to the hotel. Minibar is complimentary with water, beer and sparkling apple juice. It’s a short walk to the center of Bern and a good place to stay.
