Lovely touristic place in the center, historical. Quite overpriced, serving traditional German meals, fondue, wines and beers. Great English speaking staff, indoor seating

Familiar italian-like place with many dishes and menus (way better for economic options as individual items are much more expensive). Food is ok, nothing to write home about, and in good quantities. Service was friendly although a bit rushed and delayed. Good environment as well. Overall a place where you can have lunch or dinner with many options, most local, for a fair price (comparatively speaking) in bern city center.

Ordered cheese fondue and veggie Rosti which were so good. The place gets really busy so be prepared to wait. Despite that, the wait staff did a good job and were still cheerful and fast. Recommended!

My husband and I ordered from the lunch specials that were posted. Our waitress didn’t speak English, but we used our phones to figure out what each item was! My husband got the veal cutlet, and I had pasta with mushrooms. The special included cream of celery soup and a salad. Both of us enjoyed the soup and salad, and our entrees were delicious! It was a chilly day, but we enjoyed sitting outside and watching people’s reactions to the statue of the child-eating ogre right in front of the restaurant!

Excellent genuine Swiss food with one of the best Rösti nicely fried crispy.
And they have EGGER BIER, a must try for any beer lover! Brewed in nearby Worb.

This place was recommended to me because I wanted a cordon bleu without cheese (I don't eat cheese) and apparently everywhere else is not possible to have any. But I arrived here and they prepared a fresh cordon bleu for me, without cheese. The waitress was nice.

Lovely place for a Beer. I enjoy the time having beer in the earlier evening (especially weather now on April in Bern is very friendly), while watching people in the middle old town character of classic europe. The lady server also very friendly (I forgot her name), the price I saw on the Menu List are quiet friendly one also. This place located very close to the Hotel Bern (Best Western Plus). Maybe next will try their other menu there.
