Avoid going during public holidays due to the kids and if you don't speak german then it's not for you. Only 25% of the museum content is translated to French.

Great museum near Bern town center, very interesting animal and rock collections, hoped there would be more content for museum in capital city, anyway good experience.

It is less of natural history museum, and more a museum of stuffed animals. Very beautiful and well made though. Especially good for kids, but for adults it is not very informative.

One of the best nature museums we have been to (and there have been many) with fabulius rocks and minerals, skeletons, stuffed exotic animals, rooms of interest (Alpine dogs, lifesavers) and a set of contemporary art gallery-like science rooms. It was even too overwhelming for my 4-year-old :-)
The best part was a globe in my sweet ESTONIAN!

Came to see the famous Barry. After owning a St. Bernard years ago, I appreciate the breed for its loyalty, company, intelligence, and sweet nature. Special breed of dog, as are all dogs. ????

Really like it. Quite interesting the exposition about glasses. Even if there are many visitors you can walk properly. I do recomme it.

Nice place, grab kids with you, they’ll love it. The well-equipped playground will ground them for a while.
