One of the highlights of my first visit to Switzerland was attending musical performances here, two evenings in a row. Both involved student recitals: the first was cello students, with piano accompaniment, and the second evening was student pianists with a string quintet. Such a pleasure to attend live music! Check their schedule and consider attending an event. And maybe make a donation to support the great work of this school.

The Grosser Saal is not so big, therefore it is not meant for a huge audience. But it's a kind of cozy environment for chamber music. The Konsi Bern hosts amazing players, some of them ranked at first place in the world, so it's better to look at the concerts they have scheduled in their program! ????

Please be careful in signing up to the Konsi. The facilities are very nice, but I signed up with a teacher who wasn't very good. I signed a form in German, in which apparently I agreed to continue to be charged for new semesters (but now one showed me or explained this rule to me). I told the teacher not only that I wasn't happy with him, but that I may not be in the country for the new semester. They are now forcing me to pay, and unwilling to help me find a new teacher for the few lessons I can make for 2 weeks when I am back. It's been a really distressing experience where they are even refusing to give me the email address of the manager to write to him. I really cannot recommend this place and advise you to be very careful - I think they are really taking advantage of people, especially if you are foreign.

Красивая музыка в прекрасном исполнении. Музыкальную композицию очень оживила флейта. Когда смотрела на флейтиста, видела веселого пастушка на цветочном лугу.
