Everything was very nice here. Stumbled upon it and they took us even without a reservation. It has a great ambiance. The food was wonderful. The menus came in English as well as German. Felix, our server, took very good care of us. Would recommend to anyone.

Stuffs are very kind, gentle. Have an excellent menu and large vine options. Excellent interior ambiance. I wish I would have more time to spend here.

The service, food, and atmosphere were excellent. I felt very comfortable dining alone, which is not always the case. A thoroughly enjoyable evening!

Great terrace with a relaxing vibe and a cool history. Servers were great, food was fantastic and the local beer was very good. Highly recommend for a nice quiet break from touring the city center.

Staffs are very friendly and speak english very well. Great steak but quite expensive. Good choice of wines.

This let gem of a restaurant is slightly off the beaten track near to the Bear Pit. We are glad that we fell across it. We were a group of 10 and Andrew could not have been more accomodating. As the sun was shining we sat outside where Andrew explained what each of the dishes were. They have a daily special, which also includes soup or salad as a starter. Unfortunately the rain came down, but Andrew, Anouk and Jeanine managed to arrange a table for us inside. I can recommend the swiss white wine, very crisp and fresh. The food was delicious. Between us we had Mushroom Risotto - so good that I had to finish it, Autumn Salad - very pleasant, and from the daily special - the Lamb Strogonoff and the vegetable pasta. Clearly everyone within the group enjoyed the food, not a speck was left! Sparkling and still water served as part of the meals and also fresh bread. All reasonably priced for Bern. The staff were fantastic, it made our lunch in Bern feel very special. All I can say, is if you are near the Bear Pit in Bern and you fancy a bite to eat or even just a refreshing drink, cross the road and go down the path to Klosterli Weincafe. Thank you Andrew (the normal spelling!), Anouk, Jeanine and the chefs.

Had a great dinner at Klosterli Weincafe. Food was innovative and well executed, and the service was very friendly. In particular, the tomato soup was creative with complementary flavors and textures. The chicken dish was also a standout. The sausage was delicious and clearly homemade. The restaurant has a beautiful outdoor terrace and we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance.

For those visiting Bern, this is one of the few restaurants in the city open on Sundays, so highly recommend making a reservation to come here.
