The Entrecôte Fédéral is a nice place to enjoy a perfetly prepared meal. The prices are accordingly high, tough, but that is to be expected. The ambiente is alright, nothing special though. The staff is great as well as the kitchen.

Definitely the best restaurant we ate in in Switzerland!
The sirloin steak was wonderfully tender, juicy and flavorful. The vegetables sides were also perfect, particularly the spinach.
A bit expensive like the rest of Switzerland, but the value for money was very good.

I'm not a local so I can't claim this is the best Entrecôte in Bern but certainly the best meat I have had in the city. That said, given that the signature dish is essentially meat and potatoes, the meat itself wasn't quite the best. By no means don't let that discourage you from coming here but compared to some other places I've visited there is still a slight room for improvement.

Overall good spot for a steak, feels like the classic place of the city. But staff is not the friendlies and can seem a bit rude sometimes and prices are not the best compared to other options around. Other than that its a solid option specially for its location right in front of the square.

A place for meat lovers. As the name suggests, this restaurant serves mostly meat dishes, from schnitzel to cordon bleu and, of course, entrecôte. Additionally, there are two fish dishes, one pasta and one vegetarian dish on the menu. All dishes come with a large, mixed salad. The atmosphere is elegant and upscale. One gets a great view of the Swiss Federal Palace across the plaza. Service was friendly.

So delicious, perfect for meat lovers but also have vegan options. The waiters are friendly and speak english. It’s expensive, typically Swiss though.

Really nice service and top food! I had a steak tartar with calvados and as dessert an apple tart with vanilla ice cream! Just amazing!

Amazing food, specially the Schnitzel, I would highly suggest you keep some space for the apple pie, it’s to die for
