When in Bern a must to visit, minutes from the city centre, cozy and elegant atmosphere, fabulous cuisine and excellent service!

Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was excellent and the experience as well. It is quite pricy but definitely worth it.

They tried hard to accommodate my very elderly dinner mate (I had alerted them in advance of her mobility and hearing issues), but the table they chose for us was inaccessible for her with me guiding her. So we ended up being seated next to a large party, which I had explicitly asked to avoid. Next time I will simply ask to be seated close to the entrance and at a quiet table, instead of listing the impairments and expecting the restaurant to accommodate them. Also, I will not order the coq au vin, which was tough with an odd taste incompatible with red wine and cognac, its usual flavorings. The warm and friendly service earned an extra star.

We were introduced to this restaurant, hidden in a Bern suburb, by a Swiss friend with whom we were staying. He's a good judge of restaurants! Very enjoyable, tasty Swiss food from a varied menu at a reasonable price in very pleasant surroundings. The service was friendly and competent but could have been faster - we wouldn't have like to have been in a hurry! The clientele appeared to be a mixture of local and business people. Would certainly return!

I mentioned on the reservation that we are going to have a romantic dinner and the staff prepared a very lovely but not corny table for us.
The food is over the top, matching the perfect service. This is a real gemstone a bit off the map but close to the famous Rosegarden.
You should not miss this one out if you are an admirer of culinary craftsmanship.
