Nice hotel. There is a very pretty common room in the ground floor and multiple dining tables if people want to eat together or alone. There is also an outdoor area that we ate in (although it does get rather close to the train station). The price is a bit much for a room with a shared bathroom, but alas such is Switzerland

Great communication by host.
Easy check in.
Good Wi-Fi.
Comfortable room. Shared showers but for 3 rooms.
Nice kitchen.
Close and convenient to train station.

Coffee machine did not work.

This was a nice stay, the only reason someone might say this is difficult to find is because of google maps and the odd layout of the station. The neighborhood is safe and generally quiet other than the occasional trains (which are not controlled by the host might i add). The house has a beautiful old charm, and is quite nice and cozy. My room was perfectly clean and I had no issues with the noise. The bed was comfortable, and the location is quite convenient. The kitchen is stocked with spices and all necessities for cooking, obviously you will need to buy the ingredients. The shower was clean, as well as the bathroom overall. The house had a very nice charm to it, and I would gladly stay again.

The owner has removed my opinion because it was negative. Ugly habit.Tip: look all the opinions about this place before You make reservation. The owner has an awful way of treating his guests... He was acting crazy while my stay there. And after.

Very close to the station,interesting view over the tracks,however it was quiet and we had an excellent sleep. We used the available oats/dried fruits and milk for a porridge and had a decent breakfast together with the coffee/tea.

I booked for 3 nights early December 2021. I was supposed to travel from South Africa, however with the new covid variant, all international flights were cancelled as my whole trip. I do understand the cancellation fee were not refundable in normal circumstances, however this is an exceptional situation, putting many people in difficult financially situation. I have cancelled my booking, therefore freed the room however the Pavillon was not at all willing to discuss any possible refund sadly. Mentioning this for future guest to be careful. (other reviewers have been writing having issues on similar topic and a rude Manager!!)

Room is very comfortable, the place is so cozy and calm. The breakfast is simple but enough to start your journey. Staff are so kind and WIFI is good!
It's located very near to Bern Bahnhof (not the central station but another direct entry to train gates) and a Shopping Mall. A few walking minutes from Bern center too.
