We had a lovely Japanese lunch at Smuk. The food was fresh, tasty and authentic. It was very pleasant to sit in the small garden in the back, and the chef/server (who makes everything herself) was kind and welcoming. We'll certainly come back to try more from the menu, everything looks delicious. Lunch reservations are recommended.

The best brunch in town. Love it. The food is very fresh. I highly recommended for relaxed Sunday.
The staff are super nice and very welcoming. Made my experience 1000 times better ????????

Beautiful interior and a cozy small terrace. We went for brunch and there is a nice buffet with avocado/feta salads & more, large choice of cheese, ham, breads/brioche, salad fruit, yogurt, orange juice, water,... all à volonté + one egg (you can choose how you want it) + 1 coffee for 35 CHF. Loved the ambiance, the staff was very friendly, professional and quick to come to you when you wanted to order more (unlike many places in Basel). Will definitely be back! Excellent!

Fresh food, great coffe and friendly stuff ALWAYS. They should open a 2nd SMUK somewhere near the Rhein and with more space I’m sure it would run perfectly

A really nice place to discovery, first for the place, nice and sweet deco, and after for the drink and the amazing brunch, not with 1000 product, but with quality and Homemade !
Place to see in Basel !

Super nice and cozy brunch place. They have an all you can eat option that is pretty good, although I think that for the price it could offer more options.
