I was the only Asian. He knew my name from the first time I came in and the service was great. The salad was so delicious. So awesome ! The main dish was a little salty to the taste of Koreans, but it was still delicious. The chef came out and asked me how the food was, and I was so impressed. Everything was a perfect dinner????

Amazing traditional Swiss/German food with strong focus on very high quality meat. Everything is or can be made gluten free. The garden outside has a very nice quiet atmosphere. Highly recommended.

TOURISTS BE CAREFUL. Went here with parents. At end of meal, waiter asked where we were from (America) and proceeded to ask us “how much will you tip?” while he did this with none of the other tables. Switzerland and Europe tip is already included. Only asked us this trying to take advantage. Food, service, and ambience was amazing. Recommend, just be careful.

Really good service. The food was even better. By Basel standards, we thought this restaurant was a good bargain (remember we thought the food was very good :) ). Highly recommend the apps (soup, salad, bone marrow), the cordon bleu was delicious, and the lamb was impressive too! We will definitely be back.
