Nice surprise, very good local food. Location is next to bit noisy street, however cozy garden tables outside makes the place suitable for dinner.

I had great dinner with my family in the restaurant Laufeneck. It's late time but they're all very kind. And fresh and delicious food with nice price! I will be back again.

Place doesn’t look like much, but has very friendly staff and amazing chef. I tried two Indian dishes in two nights and both were fantastic. Highly recommended!

This place was just round the corner of Basel Novotel City so we decided to try it out after seeing food reviews. We were very happy with our food and spoke to the very nice owner and his son who is from Sri Lanka. Very good Swiss food and service.

I had a very good bratwurst in onion gravy with hash browns joined by a hefewezen. Dessert was an Espresso. All good. Service was friendly and quick. A very typical German-style gasthaus. A nice place to eat away from the tourists.

Very friendly reception, chef and sous chef.
