This is a gem! Although Rappaz is not so well known internationally, this museum is well worth the visit for fans of concrete art. The price of admission is also free which is an extremely big plus. The staff manning the counter was super friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed without being intrusive. The museum was practically deserted so we had the whole place to ourselves. Great experience!

Das kleine Museum widmet sich dem Graphic Design, der konkreten Kunst und verwandten Themen. Inspirierender Ort auch dank der Architektur und Lage im historischen Kern Basels beim Rhein. Kein Lift.

Sehr schönes kleines Museum mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Immer wieder wechselnde und interessante Ausstellungen, bei denen man mit dem Künstler und Besuchern schnell und zwanglos ins Gespräch kommt.

Une très belle maison du "kleinbasel" accueille les œuvres de Rolf Rappaz ou des expositions temporaires dans la vague de travaux mettant la géométrie, les formes et les couleurs primaires en avant. L'accueil est excellent. L'accès au musée est gratuit. Un lieu à part, qui avec sa chaleur et le grand soin apporté est à fréquenter...

Äusserst interessante Kunstwerke, wir besuchten das Museum in der Museumsnacht und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Kunst ist sehr graphisch und berechnet, das Museum hat eine ruhige und gemütliche Stimmung. Um die Sitzgelegenheiten waren wir sehr froh.

DAS Bijou unter den Basler Museen. Für alle Anhänger klassischer Grafik ein absolutes Muss. Auch für Privatanlässe ein wunderbarer Ort.
