The tapas sampler was delicious and nothing like you would expect. There are options to please every palate but the menu is still small enough that they ensure great quality on every dish that comes out of the kitchen. Great wine selecting and very good cocktails. The Dark 'N' Stormy is particularly good.

Cute restaurant close to the river. The food was good, our group for the tapas for 3, artic char, pulpo, and scallops. The toblerone mousse was delicious but the strawberry cake was not. They do give you some lemoncello in between appetizers and the main course. Good vegetarian options as well.

Good food in nice location at reasonable prices

N47°33.831' E7°35.477' After an expensive dinner in Grossbasel, we opted for a more affordable dinner at Kaserne (old barracks) in Kleinbasel. Prior to our diner, we had some drinks at the Parterre One bar in front of the barrack ground.

In September 2019, we ordered a classic Wienerschnitzel including potato salad (CHF38) and vegetables (CHF4). The Schnitzel was well prepared and tasted good. The pikeperch fillet with linden salad, orange fennel and herb coast (CHF32) tasted nice. We ended the dinner with Toblerone, raspberry, crumble, tonka bean (CHF9) for dessert. Good conclusion of a good diner.

We liked to sit outside on the terrace in September. Service was good.

Stumbled upon this restaurant on a Saturday evening. We had no reservation but they still allowed us to sit down for 1.5 hours and enjoy our dinner and drinks. They have beautiful modern outdoor and indoor seating. I had a lemon risotto with rucola and different cheeses. The taste was fresh and the risotto cooked as it should be. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is the exceptional long wait (far over 1 hour) despite knowing we were on a clock.

Excellent food and nice cozy atmosphere :) both black angus steak and raclette burger were really delicious

Excellent service and good food in nice surroundings. Good value for money by Swiss standards. Menu is limited (for example main course fish option only swordfish) but should cater for everyone including vegetarian. Certainly worth a visit.

Nicely located overlooking the Kaserne grounds.
Service is quite good.
Food is well prepared with a good variety to select from. Daily specials are usually excellent.
Veggie options are available.
Nice wine selection.
