Service- terrible, rooms- horrific, location- depressing. If there's one thing to say about this hostel, it's that you shouldn't go there. When arriving at the hostel, we were locked out. Yes, granted, we arrived late- around 11pm. However, we had notified them of this. We were out in the cold for what must have been at least half an hour before a man invited us inside. He didn't apologise and didn't even appear remotely sorry. We were dissatisfied to say the least. The ambience was similar to that of a cold empty warehouse. There was also a peculiar glass pane next to every door for people to see through which was definitely unnerving. With regards to the location, it could have been anywhere with only redeeming features being a stream outside. I am 100% never staying here again nor will I recommend it to anyone. I strongly suggest unless serious changes are made that you stay somewhere else.

For some reason, they decided that it makes sense to force people to upgrade rooms if they arrive after 11:30pm and DO NOT make it clear. And even if they did, how is this legal? So if my flight or train is delayed or I have an emergency, I have to pay extra just to sleep? They're holding on to my money now and being rude about it. I tried explaining the situation and of course they don't care. Booking dot com also doesn't care. Absolutely disgusting policies. Hope my 100€ is worth the trouble. Miserable business practices.

A nice and clean hostel. It had large community area and the bed was fairly comfy - the hostel provided clean linen you used to make the bed yourself which was nice. I stayed just one night but was able to get a good feel of the place. Nice breakfast and coffee machine. I was there on a weekday but it didn't feel too "party" as can be a problem with hostels. I slept well!

My friend stayed there for a night, all the charges were paid in advance and all the fees were included, but the lady still insisted on charging her for the city tax. They wouldn’t listen to her, still charged her. Not recommend anyone to stay here.

A beautiful building in a great location. Service was friendly and the included breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable. No towel is provided. The WiFi was pretty bad unless you were in the lobby. Only one weird upside down plug next to each bed. My plug adapter kept falling out. No self service laundry. Their laundry service was 22 francs for 2 kg and it could take up to 24 hours. Seriously? Not very backpacker friendly. So a mostly good experience with a couple of negative aspects.

Very nice, very modern. The personnel is super nice and polite. I enjoyed my stay. Would go back.

I paid for everything, but they still charged me for the city tax. Front desk is a joke, extremely rude. Do not stay here.
