I really liked the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, and you get free coffee 24 hours.
My only problem was, that there was no air conditioning. As I was there, it was really hot and although there was a fan in the room, it didn't help at all.

Could not fault this hotel on our second visit. Less than 100m from tram stop to get into the city in just a few minutes. Rooms are quite small but fine for a short stay. Very comfortable and clean. Staff extremely helpful and breakfast for an extra 10 sfr per person was a bargain. Good choice of food including scrambled eggs and bacon.
Unlimited hot drinks available from machine and room minibar has water and coke and a bottle of beer. No charge and restocked daily.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Wettstein. All hotel staff had a warm and helpful attitude (with nice extra touches such as offering some water to take with us at check-out), and the room was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of choices from the breakfast buffet, with additional seating in the pleasant courtyard garden. The location is great, too - it took us only a few minutes to get to the Museum Tinguely we wanted to visit, and the city centre is easily accessible on foot or by public transport as well. The parking under the hotel was very convenient and easy to use (do book ahead as spaces are limited). We will definitely book here again.

Incredibly nice experience in this hotel. Very personal, when we checkedin we received lots of information about Basel and even free public transport. In our case, we could enter the room as early as 11:00, it was already ready. After booking they also responded quickly to our messages. Spacious rooms and a good location. Free coffee 24/7. We unfortunately did not make use of the breakfast, but that also looked fine!

How more friendly people can be? The staffs here are so sweet, I wont forget. One tram ride away from Messe Basel, very close to Claraplatz a shopping place, Migro for grocery is 3 min walk away, paid parking available.
Two things I wanted more are laundry and aircon.

It was ubnormally hot when i was visiting Basel, how I wished the cold air.
There was a fan though.
Everything was ok after I experienced such sweet staffs.
The gym is also very good.
Morning buffet is so good.
Coffee and tea is available 24/7.

For those who need laundry info,
There is a machine wash place in 20 minute tram ride away.
It was 10 CHF for laundry, 10 CHF for dry each as of June 2020.
The lady there is kind :)
The detergent and softener included.

There was coop market/coop resto below wash express, i could spend time doing grocery and having meal too.

Very great location with parkin spaces included, the rooms are small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast and comedities are good. The staff is nice and professional.
