Lovely restaurant on a quiet street just minutes away from the busy riverside area. Nice selection of food, including some great vegetarian option. The staff were friendly, but the service is rather slow.

Got into Hirscheneck restaurant looking for a place in the neighborhood of the Hotel Wettstein.
In fact I was looking for a chicken restaurant that Google set as opened, but it wasn't...
Anyway the service is right, but I couldn't get the chicken I was looking for as they are veggies (!)
Got a spaghetti pomodoro that was okay

Good food, good idea. The food is excellent, really enjoy the vegan food here. The way the restaurant operates, making quality food available for everyone independant of financial means is something which should be supported in a much wider scale, glad initiatives like these exist to demonstrate you can do something..

Pasta for 16 francs...And I got stoled for new year bc of there bad organisation and no one from the personal gave a little attention to that.

Lovely bar in a nice safe district of Basel. Good beer and decent food albeit it is not really a restaurant. Service personnel could smile a little bit more and introduce a bit more social dynamic other than that a characterful pub.

Nice alternative restaurant/bar/ night club. Diverse food offerings with plenty of vegan options and decent prices. Casual eating environment with an eclectic atmosphere. Great for a light weekend breakfast or nice dinner with friends.
