Excellent burgers, great choice as you can “build“ your own burger. Very nice staff. Quick service. Cosy place. Outdoor seating. Centrally located. However charging 1chf per glass of tap water is a bit too much: charging once is OK, but we had a second round of tap water and were charged each 1chf again :( ...

Lovely place with really friendly staff. Thanks for the exceptional service, we really appreciated. Super food, super service.

Just had lunch here in a group of 12. Delicious burgers and salad. Friendly service. Highly recommended.
A little hard to find, look for a passageway between the shops.

Amazing place! It has a perfect terrace that is super relaxing and away from the cars. You can even build your own burguer or sandwich from scratch by choosing the ingredients you desire ! Everything was delicious

Very nice place away from the streets.
The burgers, also the vegan, are delicious and the fries tasted almost like the best fries (Belgian) in the world ????
Special shout-out to the staff for there enthusiasm en friendly service!!!!!

Fresh salad but not so fresh walnuts. Chicken burger with coleslaw tasted very good. The fries were unfortunately too soggy.

I have spent quite a long time in Basel and just discovered this gem of a place today. Fair to say it is a hidden gem. You can custom build your salad, baguette and burger. Amazing place, ambience and super friendly staff. Taking away one star as I had higher expectation from the Lemonade.. something to make better.. Definitely Recommended ????

I love the inner court. Take an apero outdoors and then eat indoors or whatever pleases you.

Their specialty is something else, which is worth another post and it is quite trending.

But in this post I want to speak about the marvelous burgers and options they have.

Go there and try for yourselves.

The 1777 burger is my favorite and if you are like me I eat the burger, I do not need the fries. They come as an optional side, so there is no way around it. Focus on the burger.

The only modification that I do to it is that you ask for the bunny of the vegan burger, which is some kind of wholewheat bun.

The place is on a first view interesting but a bit blunt, but the overall experience for most of the people I talked to like it extremely. It's kid friendly, it requires you to book ahead, as it is relatively small.
