Bought a Stevens bike 2 years ago and owner has helped me several times with it.

Always professional, respectful and knows what he’s doing, and the prices have always been fair. I try to make the effort to speak in German but his English is thankfully very good.

I don’t really understand the other bad reviews, it’s a bike shop not a social club for meeting friends.

I don't understand the low score of this store. I've tried a few different bike shops in Adliswil and surrounding area (asking for advice or having my bike repaired) and my experience with this one was always positive:

1. I was looking for a specific bike and send emails to a few shops - Velo Ueli replied really fast, they didn't have the bike but tried to find a similar one, were also very open about the availability
(some other bike shops didn't even bother to answer)

2. I ended up buying the bike online - velo ueli didn't have any problem with that, they also said they can service my bike (unlike some other workshops that would either charge more or will not accept bike for servicing if not bought with them)

3. I am now after the first service of the bike - I've scheduled an appointment online, the bike was serviced on time and the price was as announced on the webpage.

For now I am going to keep servicing my bike with them, I hope everything stays as smooth as it was until now.

I completely disregarded the low reviews on google and quite unfriendly attitude (to some moments even rude) when decided to purchase a bicycle there. I did like the bike too much. But I shouldn’t have.

After purchase, you get a month to report any defects. I came back within the timeframe with complaints about the noise the bicycle was making. I voice recorded when riding. The owner of the shop returned the bicycle after a few days accusing me that I caused the noise when took down a wheel (I don’t even know how to do it). He told me he fixed it.

Then a few days after, even more noise appeared when I was riding my bike (sometimes sounds like a train). I brought it back to the shop. The shop owner didn’t want to take it for proper examination. He did a short ride and told me there was no noise. I had two noise recordings on my phone. Very unprofessional attitude

Friendly and very professional. They took the time to explain in details how to improve my setup without any financial incentive.

Also very reasonable price wise when compared to another dealer a few kilometers away.

I will definitely come back.

Terrible service. As far as I'm concerned, I got scammed here.

Took my bike here to have the back wheel fixed -- it had started making some noise as I rode. They said it'd take a few days and they'd contact me once they were ready. Two weeks went back and I had to call them. They took an additional week.

I picked my bike and rode it to my office. Riding it back home that very day, I noticed that the wheel was still making the exact same noise for which I had brought it for repairs.

Two or three days went by and I finally had time to bring the bike back, to let them know that the wheel had exactly the same problem; as far as I could tell, it was just as broken as when I had taken it to them, three weeks before. I don't recall exactly how much they charged me to fix the wheel, but it was in the vicinity of 200 CHF.

They said that, since their repairs hadn't done anything, my only option was to exchange the wheel, which would set me back about another 200 CHF. I asked why they charged me if they hadn't been able to fix the wheel and whether they'd refund me that money, but they said that they wouldn't, since I had taken the bike with me, accepting their work. They implied that I might have broken the wheel further after picking it up (which is ridiculous: just a few days had gone by since I picked it up, and I only rode it twice, and on a short and easy road).

I declined. Three weeks of waiting for my bike to not be fixed, just to get scammed? I'm never taking my business back to this shady shop again.

Very good professionals and great quality. Of course the place is not huge, but they have everything you might need.
They are also very helpful if you have any question.
Prices are better than in other repair shops located in Zurich.

Did not install what was promised and charged for it nevertheless. When I pointed it out, the owner got really angry and argued with me. Never going there again!

Friendly personal. There is not a huge variety but the alternatives are decent. Prices may need to improve.
